1. About Vintaro Chess

Vintaro Chess is an online platform dedicated to chess education and training. Our goal is to help players improve their chess knowledge and skills through a variety of tools and content.

We operate from Australia and may update our offerings and features over time.

2. Accounts and Access

You may create an account using your Google login. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and any activity on your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the service or violate these Terms.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Premium access requires a paid monthly subscription. Access is granted immediately after payment and continues for 31 days unless cancelled.

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. You can cancel anytime via your account or by contacting us.

4. Refunds

If something doesn't work as expected, please contact us at info@vintarochess.com.

While we do not offer automatic refunds, we comply with Australian Consumer Law, which means you may be entitled to a refund if our service fails to meet reasonable expectations.

5. Intellectual Property

Vintaro Chess includes a mix of original features, embedded content, and openly licensed or publicly available data. We take intellectual property rights seriously and aim to use all content lawfully and transparently.

• What we own: We retain rights to the tools, interface, and systems we build.
• Embedded and external content: YouTube videos are embedded using official tools and remain the property of their creators. We do not host or claim ownership of these videos.
• Game data (PGNs): Based on historical chess records. Chess games are not subject to copyright protection, and we do not include third-party annotations.
• Puzzles: Sourced from Lichess.org, released under Creative Commons CC0 (public domain).
• Opening reference: Based on eco.json by Ömür Yanıkoğlu, used under the MIT License © 2017 Ömür Yanıkoğlu.

If you are a rights holder and believe your content appears on Vintaro Chess in a way that infringes your rights, please contact us at info@vintarochess.com.

6. Acceptable Use

Please do not use the service in a way that disrupts others or violates laws. We reserve the right to limit access in cases of misuse.

We do our best to provide a high-quality service, but we make no guarantees that the site will always be available, accurate, or error-free.
